Where are you located?

We are located at 3558 Skyway Drive, Suite A, Santa Maria, CA 93455. We are to the left of Viet Kitchen, in the Skyway Center Complex and across the street from Spencer's Market.

What are your hours?

We are usually open Monday-Friday from 4PM-6PM. Please text/call (805)268-2530 before coming to the studio or refer to our weekly class schedule. Thank you for your patience, as we are a very small business and need time to correspond with you.

How can I sign up for a class?

1) Please view our class schedule.

2) Click on our website front page enrollment button to choose a free trial class.

3) If a class is full, please text/call (805)268-2530 or email kleindancearts@gmail.com to coordinate a trial class and to ask about any questions you may have. Thank you for your patience, as we are a very small business and need time to correspond with you.

Can I start attending class at anytime?

Yes, you can enroll in classes at anytime. If you do not begin at the start of the month, you will be pro-rated.

Tuition is monthly. Classes are offered year-round. PLEASE text us at 805-268-2530 if you need to pause monthly enrollment.

What if I don't see a class on the schedule I can attend?

KleinDance Arts will consider adding an additional class to the schedule if space allows and if 4 or more dancers are interested and available to attend class. Please email us at kleindancearts@gmail.com with your request. Thank you for your patience, as we are a very small business and need time to correspond with you.

How should I prepare for my first class?

Please wear fitted, stretchy clothing and appropriate footwear. Hair must be up and out of face. Please check out our "Dress Code"page for further details.

Where can I purchase the proper attire and shoes needed for class?

Santa Maria Target carries toddler/youth ballet shoes, tap shoes and dance apparel.

Sugarplum's Boutique in Lompoc sells an array of dance items - Call and check their hours before making the drive.

You can purchase dance items on www.discountdance.com or www.amazon.com.

Are guests allowed into the studio while classes are in session?

Typically, guests are not allowed into the studios. Our studio offers viewing options into each studio for you to observe your child during instruction. If needed, we will do what is necessary to make each parent and child feel comfortable in our environment on a case by case basis.

Due to liability and class management, only enrolled students may participate in classes. If a friend or sibling wants to join class, they must be enrolled and liability waivers must be signed online.

What if my child did not do well in their first class? Should they continue?

Please do NOT be discouraged if your child did not have a "perfect" first class, where they were completely independent, followed every direction and executed all the exercises given with flawless ease. This is usually NOT the case. Students need time to become accustomed to their teacher, peers, environment and class structure. Please remember to allow them space to grow.

Does KleinDance Arts offer performance opportunities?

KDA offers Spring and Winter recitals. Ages 2 and up may participate. There is a fee to perform. KDA participates in local events, such as parades, festivals and fundraisers.

When is it most appropriate to speak to a teacher?

KDA's teachers often do not have the opportunity to speak between classes. Your thoughts are very important to us, so please email kleindancearts@gmail.com.

What amenities are available at KleinDance Arts?

KDA offers performing arts classes in the Santa Maria Valley, along with providing performing arts studios, accessibility, bathrooms, private lessons, group lessons, event hosting, space and flooring rentals, the list goes on...
